In a time of crisis, the right emergency equipment can be the difference between life and death.
Every day our vets and nurses use emergency supplies, like those below, to treat pets who have been injured in tragic accidents, or struck down by a sudden illness. Pets like little 18-month-old Buddy the Westie who needed a crucial operation after he was attacked by three large Rottweilers while out on a walk with his owner and her elderly mother.
Sadly, life-saving operations like Buddy's have to take place every day across our Pet Hospitals, and we urgently need more emergency equipment to help save pets in these crisis situations.
The truth is, without treatment, many of these pets simply wouldn't make it. Life-saving fluids were particularly important in treating Buddy for shock and his recovery wouldn't have been possible without antibiotics to fight infection.
