Scratching is normal for cats, but sometimes they can seem a bit itchier than normal and may need to see a vet.
Atopic dermatitis (atopy) is a skin problem caused by an allergy to something in the environment (such as pollen, moulds, grass or dust mite).
Fleas live on cats, dogs and in your home. They are much more common in the summer months (April - September).
Arthritis (osteoarthritis) is a very common condition that causes painful, swollen joints and makes moving around uncomfortable.
While we may not expect our cats to have breath as fresh as ours, if they have really smelly breath it could be the sign of an underlying medical problem.
