Edmonton Green Service update
Important Change to Your Local PDSA Service
From 2 March 2026, we are changing the postcodes eligible for treatment at the Edmonton Green Pet Clinic. This follow-up to our service review across North and East London ensures we can balance demand and provide the most timely appointments possible.
How this affects you
If you live in one of the affected postcodes (EN1, EN3, or N17), your pet’s routine care—including consultations, basic services, and daytime emergencies (8am–8pm)—will now take place at Ilford PDSA Pet Clinic.
Occasionally for more complex treatments or surgery, or for earlier appointment availability, your pet may need to be seen at Bow PDSA Pet Hospital, which is part of the same service.
From 2 March, your out-of-hours provider will change to Vets for Pets in Romford. If your pet needs emergency help outside of normal hours, please continue to call PDSA first to be directed to the correct support.
What you need to do
- Nothing right now: You do not need to re-register. Your registration will automatically transfer to Ilford and remain valid until its current expiry date.
- Existing appointments: If you have an appointment booked between 2 March and 27 March, please attend the site originally confirmed in your booking.
- New appointments: From 2 March, please request appointments via our website. Our online form remains the quickest way to reach us.
- Emergency Contact: For urgent concerns from 2 March, call Ilford PDSA directly on 0208 550 6644.
Why we’re doing this
This change is part of our ongoing work to ensure PDSA services are delivered as efficiently and fairly as possible, allowing us to continue supporting pets and owners who need us most.
