Edmonton Green Service update

We are pleased to announce that on 4 March 2024 PDSA will be opening a new clinic – the Edmonton Green PDSA Pet Clinic. This is a former RSPCA site that is being refurbished and run by PDSA and will allow us to deliver our services to 11 new postcode areas in North London. The new clinic will work as a Branch to our Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital, where your pet is currently registered.

How this affects you

Once the new clinic is open clients living in selected postcodes, including yours, will go to the new Edmonton Green Clinic for consultations and basic services. We believe this will result in a shorter journey and make our services more accessible. For more complex treatments or for surgeries, pets will still go to Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital.

The affected postcodes are: EN1, EN2, EN4, N13, N14, N21, and N22.

What you need to do

You don’t need to do anything right now, please continue to access services at Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital as usual. Once the new Clinic opens, when you request an appointment you’ll be directed to the most appropriate site. You won’t need to re-register with us to access Edmonton Green, your current registration will remain in place until it’s due to expire.

You’ll be able to request appointments at Edmonton Green, through our website request an appointment form, which is the quickest way. The full address is Edmonton Green PDSA Pet Clinic, 79 Church Street, Edmonton, London N9 9AA. The clinic will initially be open on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays 9am to 5pm and times will be subject to change. On other days care will be available at Hendon Pet Hospital.

For anything urgent or in an emergency out of hours, please call the usual number for Hendon PDSA – 0208 203 2090

Why we’re doing this

This planned activity is part of our new partnership with RSPCA, which will help pets and animals in need get the right help as quickly as possible.  RSPCA has made the decision to focus their expert veterinary services on supporting their frontline officers, and treating more animals rescued from cruelty and neglect. As the vet charity for pets in need, we’re ideally placed to provide services for pet owners who are struggling financially. This is why we’re opening a new clinic and improving access to our services in this area.
