  • Scooting in cats

Scooting is a word used to explain the act of a cat sitting down and dragging their bottom along the ground. This is usually because of an itch or pain around their anus, caused by:

  • Blood in cat poo

There are many different things that can cause blood in your cat’s poo but fortunately, many of them are minor and treatable.

  • Probiotics for dogs and cats

Probiotics are friendly bacteria which can be used to ‘top up’ the natural bacteria in your dog’s gut. They can help your dog recover from stomach upsets or longer-term conditions like Colitis.

  • Hand rearing kittens

Hand rearing kittens can be very rewarding but is also a big commitment. It involves keeping the kittens warm, regular feeding, toileting, cleaning, health monitoring and socialisation.

  • Diarrhoea after a change of food

Some pets will struggle to digest a new food unless it’s introduced slowly into their normal diet – so, if your pet eats something they aren’t used to it may give them diarrhoea.
