13 July 2026

A community fundraising raffle featuring a signed FIFA World Cup football donated by Scotland Captain Andy Robertson has already raised more than £1,000 in support of leading vet charity PDSA.

The fundraiser run by PDSA Clarkston has received an incredible response from local residents, with supporters buying raffle tickets, sharing social media posts and spreading the word to family and friends.

Susan Crawford, shop manager at PDSA Clarkston, said: “We honestly can't believe the support we've received. Every ticket, every share and every kind word has helped us reach this incredible milestone. Thank you to everyone who has supported the raffle so far. Together, we're making a real difference for pets and their owners.

“Each ticket sold helps PDSA provide vital veterinary care for sick and injured pets, while supporting the people who rely on them during difficult times.”

Supporters can find the raffle entry link here or scan the QR code displayed on the fundraiser poster in the shop window.

Susan added: “Although reaching the £1,000 milestone is a fantastic achievement, we’re still hopeful to raise even more before the raffle closes.

“Calling all football fans, animal lovers and local residents, please help us by sharing the fundraiser and help it reach an even wider audience.”
