  • Diarrhoea in cats

There are many conditions that cause diarrhoea in cats, ranging from minor to serious. Mild cases of diarrhoea usually pass within 24 hours.

  • Lyme disease in dogs

  • Grass seeds in dogs

If your dog loves running through long grass, it’s important to check them for grass seeds afterwards. Grass seeds might look small and harmless, but can cause a great deal of trouble.

  • Wounds and skin injuries

Very minor wounds (cuts, grazes, burns, bites and bruises) often heal themselves. More serious wounds should always been seen by a vet.

  • Dental Disease in Cats

Tooth and gum disease is common in cats and tends to be very painful and is quite a common problem in cats.

  • Lily poisoning in cats

Despite being popular plants in the home and garden, lilies are extremely poisonous to cats. If your cat eats any part of a lily plant, they should see a vet immediately.

  • Obesity in dogs

Vets estimate that nearly half of dogs in the UK are overweight! Being obese puts your dog at risk of health problems, and is likely to reduce how long they live.

  • Grape, raisin, currant and sultana poisoning in dogs

Grapes, raisins, sultanas and currants are all potentially poisonous to dogs. Find out what to do if your dog has eaten any of these foods.

  • Obesity in rabbits

A third of pet rabbits in the UK are overweight. Overweight rabbits are at risk of health problems and a shorter lifespan.

  • Fleas on dogs

Fleas are tiny insects that live on dogs, cats and in your home. They are much more common in the summer months (April - September).
