PDSA's Animal Awards Programme is known throughout the world for honouring the actions of incredible animals. At this very special presentation, introduced by National broadcaster and journalist Naga Munchetty, three dogs will be recognised for their devotion to duty and unstinting service to the Manchester community, with a PDSA Order of Merit – the animal equivalent of the OBE.
PDSA has been treating poorly pets in need in Manchester for over 90 years and in that time our vets and nurses have been a lifeline in protecting that special bond between pets and owners.
As we prepare to start building our brand new PDSA Pet Wellbeing Centre in the city, with work commencing later this year, we wanted to pause and reflect on the amazing impact that animals have on our lives.
