Insuring your kitten
For any cat or kitten owner, ensuring the health and well-being of our furry companions is a priority. While we hope our cats live a long, healthy life, the reality is that accidents and unexpected illnesses can happen at any time when we least expect them, which is why cat and kitten insurance is important.
Insuring your cat with PDSA Pet Insurance not only protects your cat's health, but it also protects you from having to pay costly, unexpected vet fees. Get a quote in under three minutes.
Our kitten insurance policies
With a PDSA Cat Insurance policy, you can get cover for your kitten from when they are 8 weeks old. Kitten Insurance with PDSA offers two options for cover: Lifetime and Time-limited (12-month).
Lifetime policies
- Lifetime cat insurance covers vet fees for any lifelong conditions, including any new illnesses and accidental injuries, as long as you renew your policy every 12 months. Selecting a Lifetime policy for your kitten may be more expensive than time-limited cover, but it’s a smart way to prevent high, ongoing treatment costs for long-term illnesses or conditions such as diabetes or hyperthyroidism.
Time-limited (12-month) policies
- Time-limited pet insurance for kittens covers your vet fees for accidents or illnesses up to a maximum of 12 months or up to the financial amount you choose. Once either limit is reached, your cat insurance will no longer cover that specific condition. Time-limited cover tends to be cheaper than Lifetime cover and is best suited for short-term illnesses or accidents.
You can get PDSA Cat Insurance for your kitten from when they are eight weeks old. Once your cat is insured, they will be covered for as long as you renew your insurance.
